Dickinson Lake

Located in Oakland County, Michigan

Dickinson Lake is a mid-sized lake in Holly Township, Michigan, roughly 58.2 miles northwest of Detroit.

Residents on the lake enjoy quick access to help when they need it with the Detroit Medical Center Huron 24 miles away. International travel is also convenient with the Bishop International Airport 16.9 miles away.

On the Waters

Dickinson Lake spans 44 acres reaching depths of up to 68 feet. This lake is tucked away in the woods right outside of Detroit.

Fishing is commonly enjoyed on the lake as anglers can find a variety of species, including black crappie, largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, and yellow perch. The public boat access on the northern end of the shores makes Dickinson Lake perfect for taking out a kayak or canoe and going on a fishing adventure.

Heading just 10 minutes southeast to the town of Holly, you can find a variety of diverse restaurants. Some local favorites include Villagers Restaurant, Mike’s Coney Island Restaurant, and Red Devil Restaurant.
